Playing in the brook

The river Aisne runs right in front of our door. Building dams and catching crayfish can be done 2 km from our hotel.

Playing in the Ourthe: these places have a playground and sunbathing lawn: Bomal, Sy, Hotton.

River Amblève: half an hour's drive from our hotel. A more adventurous river with lots of rocks and stronger current. Combine with the walk along the Ninglingspo.

Villages worth visiting

There are, of course, many lovely towns & villages nearby. Below you will find some of our favourites, but don't hesitate to tell us your favourite.

Durbuy

Often considered the smallest town in the world, its narrow streets exude a medieval charm. The flower-decorated houses, local craft shops and cosy cafés make it well worth a visit.

La Roche en Ardenne

Located on the banks of the Ourthe, La Roche-en-Ardenne is surrounded by majestic forests and crowned by an imposing medieval castle. The picturesque location of this village offers not only beautiful views, but also countless opportunities for riverside walks and adventurous explorations.

Wéris

Wéris lures its visitors with its unique combination of history, mysticism and natural beauty. Wéris is on the list of the "Plus Beaux Villages de Wallonie" . A 10-minute drive away, 6.5km - or a brisk walk of about 15km (20km if you also want to have seen the dolmen and Menhirs)
